ANNUAL HIGHLIGHTS

Fundraising plays a big part in the Pre-school life. The parent committee enjoys assisting in various events. One of our events is the Fun Day which is held in the local park by Teynham Village Hall in the summer.

The fun day features lots of different stalls and games such as wellie throwing, hook the duck for the younger visitors, a wonderful cake stall and refreshments. We also invite people to pay for a pitch and run their own stall as well. We sell tickets throughout the day for a balloon race where the winner of the balloon which has travelled the furthest will receive a cheque for £100.00 and the finder of the balloon ticket recieves a prize as well.

The children take part in our annual assault course in May on the school field, the children are asked to collect sponsors and have a thoroughly enjoyable morning crawling, climbing and balancing.

Sports day is another enjoyable event when all the children take part in races watched by their families and friends. We even hold races for the adults who after a little persuading can be seen to enjoy the traditional races such as egg & spoon and sack races.

 

One of the highlights of the year is our Nativity and Bazaar which we hold every December. For the last 2 years we have used the local village hall and invited parents, grandparents, aunties, uncles and the community to see a truly wonderful nativity performance, which will bring a tear to your eye. Approximately 40 children take part and thoroughly enjoy performing to a `full house` with literaly no room at the inn!
