At Teynham Community Pre -School we offer an entirely free place for government funded and FF2 funded children. An entitlement to a free early educational place does not offer a guarantee of a place at any one provider or a particular pattern of delivery.

We offer the following delivery patterns :

 5 x morning sessions  8:50 – 11:50am

4 x afternoon  sessions  12.00pm – 3.00pm + 1 x morning session 8.50- 12.00pm

Or a mixture of the above

Or we also offer full days 15 hours would equate to 2 full days and a half day session for example:

 Monday/ Tuesday 8:50am- 3.00pm

Then on half day (morning/afternoon)

We also offer 30 hours funding and are opening on a Wednesday afternoon from September 2023.

Please note that this is all dependent on the days/ sessions we have avaliable at the time your child is enrolled. Please call the setting for more information and clarification on the sessions we have avalaible.

SETTING FEES:

RESOURCE FEE:

We ask for a voluntary resource fee from all children which is £3.00 per term which goes towards snack times, cooking, trips, Easter eggs, Christmas presents, parties and keeping resources such as our craft materials stocked up.  We are always grateful for any donations of any kind even if it is just toilet roll holders to junk model with or scrap paper the children use to practice their cutting techniques.

FUNDED CHILDREN:

If your child is eligible for a government funded place (the term after your child’s third birthday) they will receive an entirely free place at Teynham Community Pre-school for the 15 hours they are entitled to. Any additional sessions are charged at the same rate as our unfunded children (see below).

*  Note:  Please be aware that you can only claim funding for your child(ren) during terms 1, 3 and 5.  If your child moves setting or starts mid-way through the term we cannot claim funding for you so you will either need to wait for the new term or pay for your child’s place until the next funding cycle begins. (This is a directive from KCC).

Free for 2 funding (FF2) & 30 Hours funding

At Teynham Community Pre - School we also offer Free For Two places and also 30 hours funding. If you are eligible for FF2 funded places then your child can have up to 15 hours free with us a week. If you are eligible for 30 hours funding then your child can have up to 30 hours free with us. You can check your eligibility at www.childcarechoices.gov.uk

(NOTE - In busy periods we will not offer additonal sessions over your government funded allowance - this is to enure that there are enough spaces for everyone.)

A statement of the funded hours your child has accessed to date is avaliable on request.

UNFUNDED CHILDREN (STANDARD FEES):

3 hour session: £18.50

All day session (6 hours) £37.00

UNIFORM:

We are finding that the cost of uniform is rising and we are not any longer making a profit on the uniform that we buy in. Therefore we will be selling what uniform we have left in stock and after that if you are interested in uniform for your children you can just purchase plain red tops / jumpers / cardigans - these can be purchased from most high street stores.

There is no set uniform as such for the children but many parents like to prepare their children for primary school by sending them in uniform.  Wearing their first one can be a big moment for some children. Our uniform is not compulsory
