Last Day Of Term
Just a reminder that this Friday (10th) is the last day of term 3. We will be shut for the week and will re open on Monday 20th February.
Teynham Community Pre-School Session Times & Fees
* Note: Teynham Community Pre-school is open term times only and times may vary depending on the number of children on our roll so please phone the setting to clarify if we do the sessions you require.
** We are now full if you would like to be put onto the waiting list then please get in touch. **
We ask for a voluntary resource fee from all children which is £3.00 per term which goes towards snack times, cooking, trips, Easter eggs, Christmas presents, parties and keeping resources such as our craft materials stocked up. We are always grateful for any donations of any kind even if it is just toilet roll holders to junk model with or scrap paper the children use to practice their cutting techniques.
If your child is eligible to a government funded place (the term after your child’s third birthday) they will receive an entirely free place at Teynham Community Pre-school for the 15 hours they are entitled to. Any additional sessions are charged at the same rate as our unfunded children (see below).
* Note: Please be aware that you can only claim funding for your child(ren) during terms 1, 3 and 5. If your child moves setting or starts mid-way through the term we cannot claim funding for you so you will either need to wait for the new term or pay for your child’s place until the next funding cycle begins. (This is a directive from KCC).
FREE FOR TWO FUNDING (FF2):
At Teynham Community Pre - School we also offer Free For Two places, this is only avaliable to certain families who recieve certain benefits or earn less than £16,000 a year. If you think you may be eligible then please pop into the setting, the manager will fill out the necessary paperwork and send to KCC on your behalf, you should have an answer within a few days. If you are eligible for FF2 funded places then your child can have up to 15 hours free with us a week. Likewise with government funded places for three year old parents can top this up and pay per additional session needed.
(NOTE - In busy periods we will not offer additonal sessions over your government funded allowance - this is to enure that there are enough spaces for everyone.)

3 hour session: £16.00 from January 2017
All day session (6 hours) £32.00 from January 2017
